a kitchen gallery.

One of my favorite things when redecorating my home (which I am in the process of right now) is figuring out the art to go on the walls of each room. Today I am working on the kitchen, a place where I want to be spending more time in, but I am realizing that none of the illustrations and photography prints I own seem to work right in there. And so, I am dreaming of a wall of perfect food-related kitchen art that I could look at every day while baking, cooking, and drinking my coffee. I think a collection is in the making...

tied up with string.

I have been on a total bunting/garland kick lately. While searching for some pretty ones to hang across my bedroom, I came across these ones from Kristina Marie (whom I posted about before.) I love the variety of colors and how sweet & delicate they look. I'm going to have to order some in the near future. ($24-$28)

(For more bunting love, check out this post I did awhile back.)

a neutral garden.

I am usually not a big fan of 1980's clothing, but I am smitten with this heathered sweater from clever nettle's shop. That neutral floral pattern is to die for. ($41)

mreow.

It may sound strange, but I happen to be a very frequent "meow"er. Whenever there is a lull in a conversation, or if I'm just feeling like it, I meow. Now, thanks to Geoff and Anabela of fieldguided, I can meow in a variety of different languages. Buy the bag here. ($15)

glasses envy.

Ever since I started wearing contacts last year, I have been a little Jan Brady-ish about wearing my glasses in public (even though, when it comes to other people, I think glasses make a person a whole lot cuter.) These gorgeous vintage frames from Etsy seller Mod Vintage would probably make me an avid spectacle-wearer again- they are just too stylin'. ($29-$79)
